PSG could offer a hefty sum for a new Ronaldo
Rafael Leão is the main target of many teams during the winter transfer window. He was the best player in Serie A last season and is currently performing well. It is his performance that has attracted the attention of many giants. The striker is only 23 years old and is contracted to Milan until the summer of 2024. But it is likely that Rafael will leave Italy this winter.
Where does he come from?
The player began his career at Sporting, as did Ronaldo. Quite quickly, Leão began to progress and in the 17/18 season he made his Portuguese Cup debut. In the draw, he really tore his opponents apart and had 8 points on goal+pass system (8+3). That’s in just six games. A year later, the forward ended up in the French Lille. He got there as a free agent.
And in France, the player began to develop even more. At the adult level it was played only 5 games, but even there he managed to score 2 goals. The next season the Portuguese performance improved and he had 8 goals and 2 assists in 24 games. The good performances and the bright game interested Milan where Rafael moved for nearly 30 million euros
This is the fourth season for the player and he keeps getting more and more playing time. This is having the best effect on his performance. Last season, Leão managed to score 11 goals and provide 10 assists.
Importantly, the 21/22 season saw Milha win the Italian title for the first time in a long time. And Leão himself was adjudged the best player of the season. And he made his debut for the national team, where he played 11 games and managed to give 2 assists.
The Portuguese started the new season at the club very well and he has already got 3 assists in the Champions League. In the championship he had 4 goals and 4 assists in 8 games.
The new national team star?
After Portugal’s Euro 2016 win, 2 promising players have revealed themselves at once:

- Diogo Jota.
The second player was able to establish himself as a starter straight away and has been consistently good. Felix, on the other hand, is frequently injured and so far does not justify the amount spent on him in almost 130 million euros. But Leão is now the one with the most serious hopes, and it is noted that he will be the future of Ronaldo. While he has no experience in big tournaments, but still his performances show that he deserves a place in the starting line-up.
Rafael himself is currently dragging Milan, the management is interested in extending his contract, but other big teams are also looking for the player:

The Parisians are willing to shell out €150m for the Portuguese. Milan want to keep the player. The head coach and management says that it is the Italian club that is the best solution for Leão, which is why the new contract implies a significant increase in wages and bonuses. But if someone does offer a huge amount of money, over 100 million euros, it is very likely that the player will leave.
